It Ain't That Serious. from open bicycle on Vimeo.

Open is a new bike store in Boston that looks as though they’re doing things right. On top of the store, the space is also a design studio where the two partners, Zack Teachout and Joshua Kampa work from and they also have an art gallery in the same space. There’s nothing like keeping busy, hey boys?

If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. We’re hoping to get there some time in September, but in the meantime, check out their awesome movie…

Fixie of the Week: My top pic from around the web.

hello everybody ben a sec since we updated. well here we go. this is the fixie pick of the week for may 15th i hope u like it. here's what he had to say about his bike:

Hullo, I'm Cameron from California and this is my first fixed gear that was built from the ground up. I never really had a plan or color scheme, so it was basically an improvision. I think it came out quite decent.
The frame and fork were bought as a pair on ebay for a very, very modest $139 with free shipping. The maker is a relatively new fixed gear company called "Eighthinch." The frame weighs 5.2 pounds and is crafted of steel. The accompaning hardware are various scraps like Weimann wheels, origin8 crankset and random parts that one of the guys at my local bike shop(s) recommended to me.

Artist: Augor MSK Krew LA.

Being an artist not too many things astonish me, and i do mean this in the nicest way possible...(i grew up in the era when the graffiti culture of the bay area exploded, there was so much graf to look at and not enough time...) so to say that not to many people now amaze me, there are the few that jus blow me away(no homo) . Augor is someone i feel who has a style that does this. when i think of graffiti i think of Augor. To his Billboard Burners all over LA to his berners on roof tops to commissioned walls, nothing seems to faze this kid he's at the top of his game. When i see videos/pics of him bombing all i can say is "How the fuck did he do that?" All i gotta say Augor is THE MAN! I mean dude even got his own signature paint can with ironlak (shown below) as u see in the interview video below, Augor is on a mission and i'm not the only one appreciating his genius. check out his website,  http://augsdraws.com/blog/ i hope u enjoy. - Stephen Rigmaiden

New Rocksmith Hats "NEW MONEY"

Rocksmith’s New Money fitteds return for Spring in two tonal colorways, black and teal. On the under-brim of these is a multicolored New Money print that sets the hats off nicely. These hats are available for purchase now at MOTIVATION’s retail store and their online store at www.mtvtn.com.

Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro DMP “Toro Bravo” aka “Raging Bull”

The Air Jordan 5 DMP is inspired by the Toro Bravo, a special bull bred for the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. The black pair represents both the Toro Bravo, known for its aggressiveness, strength, vigor and intelligence, and Michael Jordan’s basketball career, which exemplified these qualities and more. While the red pair represents the passion, inspired by MJ’s drive for the game and taking its color from the red bandannas runners in Pamplona wear.
The pack features the Air Jordan 5, which was the last Air Jordan MJ wore before he began on his unprecedented run of six championships in eight seasons. Like a Toro Bravo ready to escape from captivity, the Air Jordan 5 represents the energy building as MJ embarked on his storied career. The two-pair pack comes in a customized package, inspired by the wooden gates that separate the bull from his escape.
Thanks to nicekicks for the news.
And just a reminder our online store is hosting the pre-order of this DMP pack:

Phonograph'd Pheelings EP (Sneak Preview)

The dawn of the first Soso Deep release is soon upon us "Phonograph'd Pheelings", as we are still in the mixing down stages of the EP Randy and I hope for a nice and smooth transition into the world of independent music making and distribution. This Ep consist of 3 songs or should i say 3 heaters...
- "hypnotic" is a song that will hypnotize you to the fullest extent. With a very deep and afro minimal vibe, the synths meld with tribal percussion as the pulsating bass line compliments the bulgarian vocals all together in a beautifully composed track sure to set the dance floor afire.....

Hypnotic (ruff clip).mp3 - Stephen Rigmaiden & Randy Torrance

- "Roads Traveled (isolatoraffairmix)" is a song that needs no introduction as a masssive synth solo takes you on a journey thru percussion rhythms and a tribal drum groove, reminiscent of a time wen improvisation was the standard. a sure fire song you can Twist those eq knobs too... (isolators watch out)...

Roads Traveled( ruff clip).mp3 - Stephen Rigmaiden & Randy Torrance

and finally

- "My Soul Will" Boast mad deep vibrations. This song will be the missing link for the three, the completion of the tri-force. Vocals from head honcho of Soso Deep Stephen Rigmaiden complete this tracks as the baritone pitch of chants stating"my soul will move you" add the perfect amount of mystery and groove. With a crescendo of synths, perc fills, and strings we reach the climax..... "ahhhhhhh" was that deep enough for you ?

my soul will (ruff clip).mp3 - Stephen Rigmaiden & Randy Torrance

This Ep should be ready for the Summer 09' season so stay tuned and hit us some feedback let us know what you think.

peace and blessings to all.....
